The defending British Open Champion Black Dyke has announced its programme for the forthcoming Great Northern Brass Arts Festival at Bridgewater Hall on Saturday 12th September.
Gold Shield
Fans will no doubt be hoping that the Queensbury band under the direction of Prof Nicholas Childs will be able to display the iconic British Open Gold Shield once again after this weekend's action at Symphony Hall.
Featured soloist
Black Dyke will perform the second half of the Gala Concert (7.15pm) following Foden's first half contribution, and will feature Gareth Small as their guest soloist. The principal trumpet of the Halle Orchestra will perform the classic 'Arutiunian Trumpet Concerto.
