The winner of the 'Which Cup' quiz who recognised it as the famous National Championship of Great Britain silver cup and will be getting a trio of brass band CDs was Adrian Longbottom from Ossett in West Yorkshire.
Adrian used to play euphonium with a number of Yorkshire bands, but today is getting ready to enjoy his other love — as a cricket umpire!
He told 4BR: "I was never fortunate enough to win the National Championship of Great Britain, but I did once get close to the trophy after going to see Brighouse & Rastrick play after they won the Nationals in 1980.
It's a beautiful cup whichever way you look at it!"
