Brass Factor gains Rath support

The Brass Factor entertainment contests has gained support from Rath Trombones.

Brass Factor

Rath Trombones has become the latest high profile sponsor of the popular 'Brass Factor' entertainment contest, as the format continues to make an increasingly significant impression on the banding movement.

Support

Founded just five years ago by trumpet player Alex Bray, the event has become a huge success with two contests being held later this year in Wetherby and Holmfirth.

Now, Michael Rath Trombones will be giving its support after Michael and his wife Nicola, went to last year's 'Brass Factor' and decided to become involved.

Fulfil dreams

Michael told 4BR: "As a company we want to encourage young people everywhere to fulfil their dream of playing an instrument and making music, and as we are based in Honely we like to support local events and give something back to the community.

Sponsoring 'Brass Factor' is a great way of doing this."

It's going to be the biggest and best 'Brass Factor' to date. We have got some wonderful sponsors who are all proud to support what is fast becoming a great Yorkshire traditionAlex Bray

Thrilled

Alex added: "I'm thrilled Mick and his company has come on board in time for our fifth anniversary.

It's going to be the biggest and best 'Brass Factor' to date. We have got some wonderful sponsors who are all proud to support what is fast becoming a great Yorkshire tradition."
