The Fairey Band is set to return to France this weekend to provide Parisians with yet another vibrant taste of Acid Brass.
The reigning North West Area champion has been asked to perform at the city's famous 'Quartier d'Ete' Festival which brings together artists from around the world to appear in high profile performance sets.
Cult DJ
Fairey will be closing the two week festival in the Parc de la Villette at the Cabaret Sauvage on Saturday (8th August) accompanied by cult DJ Dave Haslam — the main 'turntable man' at the famous Hacienda nightclub in Manchester when Acid music was at its peak.
French connection
Dave will also give the audience an introduction to how Fariey got involved in the worldwide musical phenomenon courtesy of Turner Prize winning artist Jeremy Deller, whilst two high profile French DJs, Erik Rug and Jerry Bouthier will join proceedings in what is being described as a 'Wonder Dancefloor' party.
