Over 40 young musicians from the Cornwall Youth Band performed for HRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall on their recent annual visit to the county.

Charles, who also holds the title of Duke of Cornwall toured the harbour at Padstow with his wife, where thousands of well wishers had gathered.

Listen

The couple paused to listen to the band before being introduced to conductors, Alan Pope and Darren Hawken, as well as several of the musicians, including senior members Megan Thomas and Matthew Brown, and trustees.

The Duke warmly congratulated the musicians on their performance and enthusiasm for music and thanked them for taking the time off from school to entertain the Duchess and himself.
