Swan Lake errata released

The little ripples that need to be sorted out by bands on the surface of Swan Lake have been announced...

British Open

The organisers of the 163rd British Open Championship have released the official list of errata that competing bands should use to amend their scores to the set work 'Reflections on Swan Lake' by Stephen Roberts.

They are as follows:

Bar 154: 1st horn — slur over all four semiquavers (as solo horn)

Bars 178-184: Soprano should be written as solo horn (i.e. correlate with cornets)

Bar 181: Remove f in Soprano (keep ff)

Bars 241 & 243: Euphonium rhythm should be as at 3rd bar of N (i.e. each phrase starting with 32nd note)

Bar 393: Mute change in basses may need accommodation. Suggest 2nd players stay muted for 3 bars of Z, then open.

Bar 495: Cornets 3/4 & Flugel change G to F on 2nd beat (in 8vas with trombones)
