Ohio Festival to feature Thornton delights

The forthcoming Ohio Brass Arts Festival will feature contesting performance as well as David Thornton on tip top solo form.

The 9th annual Ohio Brass Arts Festival hosted by the Central Ohio Brass Band takes place this weekend at the scenic Creekside Rotary Stage in the state city of Gahanna.

Contest

Eight bands from Ohio will participate in the Festival. In addition to two exhibition bands, six bands will compete for OBAF Cup including the past three winners (Central Ohio Brass Band, Dublin Silver Band and Brass Band of Columbus) as well as the new Fillmore Philharmonic Brass.

The adjudicator for the event is Sterling Musical Instrument artist Dave Thornton, who will also be performing at the event as a guest soloist4BR
