2016 Flemish Open looking for bands

If you want to claim the 2016 Flemish Open title then make sure you get your entries in for the popular event in Mechelen.

4BR has been informed that entries are now being welcomed for bands wishing to compete in the 2016 Flemish Open Brass Band Championship (VOBK16).

The event will be held on the weekend of the 16th/17th April in the City Theatre in Mechelen, Belgium.

Sixth time

The sixth running of the Championship is open to bands in sections A, B, C & D (Championship, First, Second, Third) and has become an increasingly popular thanks to its excellent location and smooth running.

Section C will play on Saturday afternoon, Section A on Saturday evening, Section D on Sunday morning and Section B on Sunday afternoon.

The rules were updated for VOBK16.

Deadline

The deadline for entries is December 1st.
