Hatfield gains continued support from local council

Hatfield Band's community contribution gains continued support from local council.

Hatfield Council

The Hatfield Band has announced that their local Town Council has extended their sponsorship partnership with them for another year.

The Mayor of Hatfield, Bill Morrison presented the sponsorship cheque to the Yorkshire band at a recent rehearsal, which was received by Vice Chairman, Ian Kennedy (above).

Contribution

During the presentation, the Mayor stated: "The Town Council greatly values the contribution the band makes to the local community and in representing the town when making appearances and entertaining further afield.

We are very proud of them and wish we could do more to support their progress and rebuilding programme."

Honoured

Ian Kennedy told 4BR: "We are honoured that Hatfield Town Council value the band to support us financially as well as helping with rehearsal facilities and advice.

We would like to thank the Town Council for their generous support and hope the band can now progress apace, to fulfill both our aspirations."
