Sterling Instruments have offered their congratulations to two of their leading international performing artists following news of new career moves.
Euph moves
Glyn Williams (above) recently made the move after 20 years at Foden's to go to the world's number 1 ranked band, Cory, with David Thornton replacing him at the Sandbach band from Brighouse & Rastrick.
Sterling Instruments MD, Paul Riggett told 4BR: "Two of the world's finest euphonium players have made exciting career moves — ones that I believe will further enhance their international reputations.
Cory and Foden's will benefit from two performers of proven world class, who also have so much to offer as soloists, teachers and conductors.
Everyone at Sterling offers their congratulations to them both — and further congratulations to David for the deserved award of his DMA from the University of Salford."

Outstanding quality
He added: "Sterling Instruments is proud to be associated with musicians of outstanding quality — and with David and Glyn at the vanguard of what we wish to create with our instruments, I am sure others will benefit too."
