The Leyland Band has welcomed the signing of Ben Jarvis as their new repiano cornet player.
Talented
The talented young player from Preston moves to Leyland after a successful spell as principal cornet of the Hebden Bridge Band, where his playing was developed under the baton of MD Danny Brooks.
Despite his youth, Ben has already performed solo recitals in Austria, Spain and at Ground Zero in New York. In 2013 he won the Woodard Schools Junior Musician of the Year title and has been a member of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.
