Bands ready to take Bugle march

A great line up of 32 bands will take to the road and the contest stage at the famous Bugle Contest this year.

Bugle

No less than 32 bands will take to the road to lead the procession to the 91st West of England Bandsman’s Festival in Bugle on Saturday 20th June.

They will set off at 9.00am on the traditional march through the Cornish village to the contest field, before taking part in the seven different contesting sections.

The entry this year ranges from Training Bands to the Championship Section contenders with a host of impressive silverware, including the famous Royal Trophy, presented to the Festival by the Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, in 1913.
