Amersham Band and Amersham Community Brass held an inaugural Spring Concert recently. The star of the show was Mike Lovatt, the internationally recognised trumpet player who performed with both bands, playing a range of big-band, jazz and traditional styles.

Success

The concert was held at the new Kings Church in Amersham which is a fantastic new venue for local concerts. Band Chairman, Fred Harrison told 4BR: "The Spring Concert was a new initiative for us, and was a huge success. We’ll definitely be coming back to the Kings Church for future events, so keep an eye on our events schedule".
