The updated World of Brass — 4barsrest.com show no positional changes in the top seven, but the usual whirlwind of activity below that following the 2015 Regional Championships.

Carlton Main Frickley Colliery moves back into the top ten following its victory at Bradford, Rothwell's third place sees it back in the top 20 for the first time in almost two years, while the new Scottish Champion Whitburn’s 13th place in the table is its highest ranking since 2008.

Fountain City's victory at the North American Championships sees it move up 15 places, and Morecambe Brass is the highest new entry into the top 200 following its fifth place at Blackpool.

Other contests taking place since the last update were:

NEMBBA Contest — won by Strata Brass
Northern Ireland Brass in Concert — won by 1st Old Boys Silver.

The next update will follow the European Championships, where Black Dyke will look to make up lost ground on Cory as the Welsh band hopes to extend its rankings dominance for a remarkable ninth successive year.
