Ford to power Rogerstone Welsh effort

Martyn Ford will take the helm at Rogerstone Band as they seek to claim Welsh title on Swansea this weekend.

Martyn Ford has agreed to step in as conductor to take the Rogerstone Band at the forthcoming Welsh Regional Championship in Swansea this weekend.

Experienced

The experienced MD has previously worked extensively in the orchestral world with the likes of the London Symphony, London Philharmonic and City of Prague Philharmonic.

New signings

Meanwhile, the band will take to the Brangwyn Hall stage with a number of new signings.

New signings Deryl Evans (solo euphonium), Diane Holly (Eb bass), Georgina Holly (3rd cornet), Ceri Williams (principal cornet), Gareth Vaughan (soprano), Dean Llewellyn (solo cornet), come in alongside returnees Nick Sheppard, Steve Giles and Sarah Freeman.
