The University of Salford Music Directorate will host a visit from the talented young players of the Manger Folkehøgskule Brass Band on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th March.

The Norwegians will come to several of the university brass band rehearsals and witness the performance classes of final year soloists, taking place in Peel Hall.
On Tuesday 24th March at 1.00pm, euphonium virtuoso David Thornton will present a workshop and listen to several of the Norwegian students as well as one of their brass ensembles. The free workshop is open to anyone that would like to come along.
On Wednesday 25th March the Manger Folkehøgskule Band will play a free short concert after the student led Adelphi Wind Band and Brass Band performances4BR

On Wednesday 25th March the Manger Folkehøgskule Band will play a free short concert after the student led Adelphi Wind Band and Brass Band performances.
All this will take place at 1.00pm again in Peel Hall, on the University’s main campus. Once again anyone is welcome to attend the event which is an ideal opportunity to listen to a group of very talented young musicians.
