Creetown Silver Band has given themselves a huge boost of confidence ahead of their appearance in the Fourth Section of the Scottish Championship in Perth this weekend.

First place

Once again the band was successful at the recent Galloway Music Festival, claiming first place in the Adult Section.

Conductor Stuart McNab told 4BR: “The adjudicator gave the band a distinction award playing ‘An English Pastorale’, praising both the ensemble and the solo playing to give us a huge boost ahead of our appearance in Perth.”
