Blidworth achievements gain award nomination

Blidworth Welfare Band has been nominated for a prestigious regional award following two years of success.

The successful achievements of Blidworth Welfare in 2014 and 2015 have resulted in the Midlands band being nominated for a prestigious Mansfield & Ashfield Pride award.

Achievements

Those achievements include qualification and a seventh place finish at the National Finals in 2014, gaining promotion to the Championship Section and claiming a qualification place at the Spring Festival in Blackpool in May.

Attendance

The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 25th March at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex in Mansfield where several band representatives will be in attendance.
