Title winning success from Prima Vista Musikk

The music that propelled Grimethorpe to Brass in Concert title success will soon be available from Prima Vista Musikk.

Recent contesting successes for the likes of Grimethorpe Colliery at the Brass in Concert Championship, to Burry Port Town at the recent Welsh Open have been secured by performing music published by Prima Vista Musikk Publications.

New titles

And now your band has the chance to perform some of that music, as well as plenty of other exciting new titles due for publication.

‘Lest We Forget’ by Christopher Bond, which Grimethorpe used to such brilliant effect will be available in the next few weeks, alongside ‘Peacemakers’ by Dan Price, which was also used in their winning BiC performance.

Solos and drama

Prima Vista Musikk is also delighted to be able to publish Leigh Baker's beautiful euphonium solo arrangement of the traditional Welsh song ‘Ar Lan y Môr’, which was played by Burry Port in winning the Welsh Open Entertainment title in Porthcawl recently, as well as Paul Lovatt-Cooper’s foot tapping ‘Walking with Heroes’.

If you are looking for drama then nothing comes better than Cai Isfryn's work inspired by Welsh mythology, ‘Vengeance!’, and if it’s something to roll back the years then why not try ‘Big Band Tribute’ — by Barry Fogie, also played by Grimethorpe in their Brass in Concert Gala Concert programme.
