4BR — Get tweeting and e-mailing for our test piece workshop broadcast

Monday night gives you the chance to ask the questions — live — about the Fourth Section Area test piece.

standard

4BR’s live Regional test piece workshop broadcast on Monday evening (23rd February) will start at 8.30pm — and we want your help to make it a success!

In partnership with the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators (ABBA) and Tredegar Town Band, 4BR will host the live broadcast on the 2015 Fourth Section Area set-work, ‘An English Pastorale’ by Dean Jones.

You ask

4BR Editor Iwan Fox will present the interactive programme and we want to be able to explore the composition in detail through the questions that you want to ask.

Tweet or e-mail

So get your thinking caps on and either tweet or e-mail direct to us, before or during the broadcast at #4BRLive or at live@4barsrest.com

You can ask questions of the vastly experienced David Hirst, about aspects of the piece, and what the judges may be looking out for, or to Ian Porthouse and the band to run through specific parts of ‘An English Pastorale’ to resolve any problems you or your band may be encountering.

Ian and David will try to answer your questions live (with a little prompting from the 4BR Editor!) — so don’t be shy and start tweeting and emailing us today4BR
