Gresswell set for Army link

4BR has been informed that The Band of the King’s Division, one of the British Army’s three professional brass bands, continues to forge stronger links to the civilian brass band community.

Welcome

The 4BR ‘Newcomer of the Year’ award winner is to welcome Yamaha Neo performing artist Simon Gresswell to lead a tuba section workshop with the band on 25th February at their headquarters in Weeton near Preston.

Led by Director of Music, Captain Justin Matthews, The King’s Division Band has continued to receive critical acclaim for their recent performances, which have included a high profile appearance at the Royal Northern College of Music Festival of Brass in January, and this latest initiative is something which they also hope to develop our the coming year or more.
