Lostock Hall MD Brian Harper is preparing for his last appearance at the North West Area Championship this year.

Relocating to a new area after 23 years, Brian told 4BR: “It’s been a privilege to develop my career in the North West, and have thoroughly enjoyed conducting various bands in the region. I wish all bands every success.”

The highly respected MD will not be hanging up his baton though and will now be looking for conducting opportunities in Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.
