The Foden’s Band has announced the appointment of the vastly experienced Steve Ridler as their new solo horn player

Distinction

The former Carlton Main, Leyland and Brighouse & Rastrick Band principal cornet returned to the UK last year after enjoying a decade or more of life in Australia, where he played solo horn with great distinction with multiple Australian National Champion, Brisbane Excelsior.

Pleased to welcome

Foden’s Band Manager, told 4BR: “All at Foden's are pleased to welcome Steve following the departure of Dan Powell who has moved away from the area.

Steve was originally booked to cover up to the RNCM concert last weekend, but after the concert we made the decision to offer him the position.”
