Wedge makes mark in mouthpiece stakes

Wedge mouthpieces have certainly made their mark since their introduction at John Packers...

Wedge mouthpieces

Since their introduction to the John Packer brass department last year, Wedge mouthpieces have quickly become best sellers.

Design

The mouthpieces, with their patented ergonomic design, differ from traditional models and makes in a subtle but important way; the sides of the rim are curved away from the embouchure, reducing pressure to areas of the mouth and improving circulation.

Every person that has tried one has left the shop with one — a great accolade for the revolutionary mouthpieces.

Delivers every time

One recent convert said: “Since purchasing my Wedge mouthpiece I have felt far more confident right across the range but in particular in the higher register, it delivers every time.”

Another musician added: “I got a better dynamic range from pp to ff. It is possible to play for a longer time without becoming tired.”

Converts

Wedge even converted a couple with many years playing experience, with one new convert stating: It’s by far the most comfortable mouthpiece I've tried. I was dubious at first but I have already noticed that I can play for longer with it.”
