Yorkshire Area First Section contenders Strata Brass have announced a number of new signings ahead of their St George’s Hall appearance in March.

Signings

Adele Ashton comes in on solo horn from the Rockingham Band, whilst Jamie Ashton and Phil Singleton come in to strengthen the back row cornet line.

Jane Andrassy fills the vacant Eb Bass vacancy, with Lisa Hardy returning on solo baritone and Steve Scarf taking over on soprano cornet until a full time replacement can be found.

Quality

A Strata spokesperson told 4BR: “These are all quality signings for the band and we are looking forward to working with MD Derek Renshaw to consolidate our First Section status.”
