The Kippax Band has announced that former Musical Director Keiron Anderson will lead the Yorkshire Second Section contenders at the forthcoming Butlins Mineworker’s Championship in Skegness.

Chairman Colin Moss told 4BR: “Although it has been twenty four years since he last led us, we were well aware of Keiron’s pedigree and felt that the band would respond positively to his ideas on such a short time scale.

We’re delighted that Keiron accepted our request, and we look forward to working with him over the next few rehearsals leading up to Skegness.”

Hardy

Meanwhile, the band has also announced that the vastly experienced Colin Hardy will take them to the Yorkshire Regional Championship in Bradford in March.

Colin has worked successfully with Kippax in the past, leading them to second place at the Butlins Championship in 2009.
