Belgian Heist raises funds for great cause

Brass Band Heist have helped raise funds for a fantastic cause in their home town in Belgium.

Brass Band Heist provided plenty of festive cheer and music making at their recent Christmas concert at a sold out Wiekevorst Church in their home town of Heist-op-den-Berg in Belgium.

Together with the three soloists of the vocal group Nobilé, it was the eleventh year in which the band has provided a musical treat to their supporters, whilst also raising funds to support local children with mental health and physical disabilities.

The money will be used to help continue music therapy lessons to the children4BR

During the concert, a proud Brass Band Heist Band President, alongside MD Bert Van Thienen, presented a cheque for €1750 Euros (above) to the local organisation’s professional teacher Jolien Vrolix.

The money will be used to help continue music therapy lessons to the children.
