The Medway Band will be seen helping Holly Willoughby bring festive joy to unsuspecting people this Christmas, as they are to be featured on a special edition of the hit ‘Surprise, Surprise’ television show this evening (Sunday 21st December)

The band recently spent time at ITV's London Studios recording the opening scenes before a live audience, with Holly Willoughby introducing the band as they played 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town'.

We provided a variety of musical options and, following a visit to the band room by the production team, we were delighted to be asked to take part in the showBand Manager Richard Parsons

Delighted to take part

Band Manager Richard Parsons, told 4BR: “We were contacted by the producers some weeks ago and asked if we were able to provide a short festive opening piece to start off the show.

We provided a variety of musical options and, following a visit to the band room by the production team, we were delighted to be asked to take part in the show.

We were conveyed to the ITV London Studios where our dressing rooms and makeup awaited — and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.”
