With their MD Chris Wormald away adjudicating at the Swiss National Championships in Montreux last weekend, the ever resourceful young members of Smithills Senior Band spent their time helping to raise funds for future tours with a marathon two day bag packing session at a local Morrisons store.

Dressed to impress in their stage uniforms, the hard working musicians rounded off an excellent month of fund raising by boosting funds by another £2,100.
