The International Brass Band Summer School has announced that composer Peter Graham will be their special guest on the 25th Anniversary course next year.

IBBSS Administrator Alison Childs, told 4BR: "Our 2015 course promises to be a great occasion, and with Peter Graham as our guest it will bring an added musical dimension to a week that we are sure our delegates will enjoy."
The composer who has written some of the most memorable test pieces and major works of recent times for the likes of Black Dyke and the National Youth Band of Great Britain, will join up with delegates from all over the world in Swansea next August.
25th anniversary
The course will consist of two single brass bands, whilst delegates will enjoy specialised tuition in individual lessons and chamber groups, as well as working towards the traditional delegates Gala Concert, followed by a special end of course 25th anniversary party.
The course will be directed by Professor Nicholas Childs, with tutors such as Richard Marshall, Chris Turner, Owen Farr, Gary Curtin, David Thornton, Joseph Cook and Matthew Routley.

The 2015 course will run from course from 2nd — 8th August and will be held in the beautiful setting on the Gower Peninsula, Swansea with individual en-suite rooms available.
