Raw Brass makes impact on both sides of North Sea

The innovative Raw Brass instruments from County Instruments have been making an impact on both sides of the North Sea.

The innovative design and world beating quality of performance of the Raw Brass Signature models from County Instruments has certainly been creating a huge impression of late — both in the UK and Europe.

Siddis return

Almost before designer Chris Waters had finished unpacking his suitcase on his return from exhibiting at the Siddis Entertainment Contest in Stavanger, he was already fielding enquiries for customers keen to get their hands on his ground breaking cornet and flugel horn.

However, the good news comes on the back of him delivering instruments to customers following the recent Wychavon contest in the Midlands, so no wonder Chris is being kept busy on his travels as he delivers each instrument personally to his customer — be it in Cinderford or Norway!

Cost effective

“It’s more cost effective in the long run as there’s no chance of an instrument being damaged,” Chris told 4BR.

“It also gives me another opportunity to give customers a better understanding of instrument and how to get the best out of it. Personal service counts — especially with instruments of this outstanding quality.”

Tone quality

Mike Wilkinson, the flugel player of Cinderford Band certainly agrees. “Having received my instrument, I have had the opportunity to play it at one local gig and one contest at Wychavon, which we won.

I’m sure the tone quality and clarity this instrument provided me contributed to this performance, as it was definitely noticed by the conductor and the adjudicator!”
