There was certainly one happy little trombone playing hobgoblin this Halloween, when young Eris Ferraby opened a very special delivery from Norman Musical Instruments.
Spookiest
Eris from East Yorkshire was the winner of the brilliant Halloween painted p-bone in a fantastic competition run by Normans, which had hundreds of people trying to get their hands on it in time for the spookiest night of the year.
Loving it
Her mum, Kaz, wrote on the Normans Facebook site: "She's absolutely loving it! Trying to get her to practice on brass might be a bit of a pain for a while.
Thankfully the p-bone is 'legal' for Trinity Grade 3 which is what she's currently working toward, so I am not too panicked."

She added: "I really do recommend the instrument though — so light and sounds damn fine.
She took it with her to visit a friend this evening, and everyone had a bash at playing it, from three year olds to grown-ups. Great fun!"
