Smithills School Senior Band has one again helped to raise much needed funds for both their own ongoing musical exploits and that of ‘Children in Need’, with another packed concert appearance in Bolton.

Roof raising

Under MD Chris Wormald the second half of the event featured over 300 Smithills instrumentalists and singers taking to the stage, with the evening concluding with a truly roof raising massed brass and voice performance of ‘The Lost Chord’.
