The Amington Band has announced the appointment of the experienced Bob Stradling as their new Musical Director.

Wealth of experience

A spokesperson told 4BR: “Bob brings with him a wealth of conducting and playing experience and will begin the job full time at the beginning of December.

The band and management committee would like to offer a warm welcome to Bob, and are looking forward to the next chapter in the band’s long history.”

Concert & contest debuts

Bob’s first concert appearance as MD will be in Tamworth in mid December with his first contest appearance at the Butlins Mineworkers Championship in January.
