Renewing a long artistic acquaintance, euphonium virtuoso Professor Steven Mead will travel to Spain next week to take part in the famous 'Brass and Wines' Festival, hosted by the renowned quintet Spanish Brass.
Concerts and masterclasses
The Festival will take place in Moto Del Cuervo, and will incorporate three days of concerts and masterclasses, with Stephen featured alongside French trombone star Michel Becquet.
Steve's performance with wind orchestra will include Hermann Pallhuber's ‘Bliss’ and his concert with piano will include ‘Fandango’ by Antonio Soler.
‘Brass and Wines’ is also the title of the CD that Steve made with Spanish Brass a few years ago, and he is very much looking forward to being part in the international festival that runs from the 17th-19th October.

Wonderful musicians
He told 4BR: "Escaping the wet weather as we hit early autumn in the UK is just one reason why I'm looking forward to this festival — but the prospect of taking part with such wonderful musicians is also such a draw!
