The Lindley Band has announced the signing of Joe Hainsworth and Andrew Knight ahead of the second half of the current contest season.

Joe joins on the front row, strengthening the existing team, while Andrew will occupy the flugel chair.

Joe has already made his mark: He has a lovely sound which blends beautifully with the rest of the cornet section, and Andrew is also a great signing — his experience in both banding and across a range of musical genres will really make a difference to the horn team."

Contest future

The band is now busy preparing for the forthcoming Pogson Bray Entertainment Contest as well as looking forward to life in the First Section from January next year.
