The London & Southern Counties Regional Committee has informed 4BR that following the retirement of David Hobbs, they have appointed Kevin Williams as their new Regional Secretary.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "After David’s outstanding work and contribution to the banding movement we are very fortunate to have been able to appoint such an experienced person in his place.
Kevin has extensive experience of banding in the region from his youngest days with the Hendon Band, so we know we have the right person for such an important role."
