Besson Musical Instruments has announced the latest addition to their official line up of Besson artists, with news that Grimethorpe principal cornet Iain Culross has joined their stable of top flight brass band performers.

Welcome

Fellow Besson artist and international soloist Roger Webster, speaking on behalf of the company, told 4BR: "I’m delighted in joining Besson and Buffet Group team in welcoming Iain on board with us.

I first came across Iain a few years ago when his parents use to bring him along to me to have lessons when I visited Glasgow.

Even at a very young age, Iain showed the same dogged determination to succeed as he displays today."

He added: "With the support of Dr Robert Childs and the team at Grimethorpe Colliery Band, I’m sure Iain will enjoy a successful time as as principal cornet, and will continue to go on to develop his fine musical career."
