After a recent meeting several ex-members of the Stanshawe/Sunlife Band hope to reignite interest in setting up a concert band of former players, which they hope will be able to rehearse once a month.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Our aim is to hopefully rehearse in or near Bristol at a mutually convenient time with the intention of performing a concert once a year.

We believe this could be an excellent opportunity for ex members to renew old friendships and participate once again in an activity that was such a big part of our lives."
