Grimethorpe Colliery Band has announced details of its British Open test piece preview rehearsal, as the Yorkshire band looks to regain the title it last won in 1991.

Under the baton of Dr Robert Childs, the band welcomes fans to Shafton ALC, Engine Lane, Shafton in Barnsley (S72 8RE) on Tuesday 2nd September.
Entry is free to hear how they are putting the final touches to ‘Vita Aeterna Variations’, ahead of their Symphony Hall challenge on September 6th — and it all starts at 7.15pm prompt — so be early!
