NASUWT Riverside latest addition to Geneva ranks

The NASUWT Riverside Band is the latest top flight band to opt to play on Geneva instruments.

Geneva

The growing number of top flight bands opting to perform on Geneva instruments has received yet another high profile addition, with the news that the NASUWT Riverside Band has become the latest Championship Section band to join their ranks.

Unanimous decision

A spokesperson from the band told 4BR: "Having tried the other leading brands it was a unanimous decision to go ahead with purchasing instruments from Geneva.

The build quality and finish is beautiful and the ergonomic design means that the instruments feel great in the hand.

Our players were so impressed by the excellent tuning, intonation and ease of blowing throughout the range. The instruments are extremely responsive and the tonal quality is superb, enhancing the band’s overall sound immediately. The instruments met all their stringent demands."

Outstanding

Service was also important, as the spokesperson added: "The outstanding lifetime guarantee on all the instruments and the free annual instrument service is also a fantastic addition.

This gives us huge confidence that we will be playing on these premium quality instruments for many years to come."

Service

The band revealed that the purchase of the instruments was made extremely easy and straight forward by the service Geneva offered.

"Representatives from Geneva Instruments came to our bandroom on more than one occasion, and took time to explain and demonstrate the features of the instruments," they said.

"That certainly puts your mind at rest when investing such a large amount of money.

I know we are reasonably local to the Geneva head office, but I believe that this is a service that cannot be bettered by any other instrument maker. We’re delighted with the quality of the instruments and the service we’ve received from Geneva."

Delighted

Geneva’s Sales & Marketing Director, Duncan Cartledge told 4BR: "We’re delighted to have yet another top band choosing Geneva Instruments as their preferred manufacturer.

It’s been great working with NASUWT Riverside Band. As well as their delight with the new instruments we’ve supplied we’re equally pleased that the assistance and service we provide to our customers is appreciated."

Clear explanation

He added: "As a company we are well aware of the financial strain purchasing new instruments places on a band.

That is one of the reasons we offer the opportunity to test our products in a bandroom environment and present a clear explanation of our products to potential customers so a more informed purchasing decision can be made.

We look forward to hearing the NASUWT Riverside Band perform on the new set of Geneva Instruments and would like to wish them every success in the future."
