Growing demand gives Geneva European boost

The growing demand for Geneva Instruments has been down to hard work from Henk van Loon and some brilliant instruments...

Henk van Loon

The growing demand for the full range of Geneva Instruments throughout Europe has seen the respected Henk van Loon become a familiar visitor to bandrooms in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg since his appointment in February this year.

Great effect

Henk (above), who currently plays with Dutch National champion Brass Band Schoonhoven and was formerly a member of the Amsterdam Staff Band of the Salvation Army, has a long sales management background, which he has certainly been able to use to great effect when promoting the world beating Geneva brand.

When Henk found out that there was no current Geneva Instruments distributor or main retailer in the Netherlands, he seized upon the opportunity and made an eye opening visit to Geneva’s headquarters in the UK.

And after reaching an agreement to head a BeNeLux region sales division, since February Henk has been introducing eager European brass players, bands and orchestras to the Geneva range of instruments.

Impressed

Henk told 4BR: "During my visit I was so impressed with the professional set up of the company, the passion, the instrument designs and their vision for the future.

Having the opportunity to join the Geneva Instruments team and manage the development of the products in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg has been amazing.

The reception I’ve received from players and bands alike has been positive — everyone is so impressed by the build quality, feel and tone of the instruments. We have experienced some great results over the past few months in Europe and importantly, we have also made some musicians very happy!"

Excellent support

Henk continued; "The future for Geneva Instruments in Europe is an exciting one. With the quality of the products and the excellent support available to the customer it makes Geneva Instruments a perfect partner for bands, orchestras and professional musicians."

Mission

A Geneva Instruments spokesperson added: "When meeting Henk it was evident that he understood and appreciated our company concept, mission, aims and objectives.

All the hard work Henk has put in over the past six months is shown by the increasing popularity and sales of Geneva Instrument in Europe.

Although he’s a busy man, we known Henk would be delighted to enable more players to enjoy playing on Geneva Instruments, so make sure you give him a call!"
