New duo head to Poynton

Vernon Building Society Poynton announce two new signings ahead of a busy second half of the contesting year.

Vernon Building Poynton has announced a brace of new signings ahead of the forthcoming contest season.

New principal cornet and trombone

James Yeadon comes to the North West band as principal cornet having just graduated from Manchester University where he studied trumpet. James also played soprano for the successful University Band, as well as Vaganza.

Also joining is trombonist Gareth Brown. Gareth, who is the brass tutor at The Kings School in Macclesfield, hails from an orchestral background, having played for a number of ensembles in the North West.
