Roche Brass from Cornwall has announced the appointment of Lee Clayson as its new Musical Director.

After a highly successful 20 year musical career in the British Army, where he held the position of principal cornet in all four bands in which he served and was a founder member of the British Army Brass Band, the Plymouth born musician has since set up a recruitment company in his home city as well as keeping his lip in with freelance playing.
Thrilled
With extensive brass band experience to fall back on through his time playing with Woodfalls and Desford amongst others, Lee told 4BR that he was delighted to take up a new conducting role.
"I’m thrilled to officially come on board with Roche Brass following some great work together in helping them to win the First Section at Bugle recently.
The band has made excellent progress over the last couple of years and is full of experienced players. I’m really looking forward to working with the band."
