Geneva set to take principal role at Nationals

Geneva Instruments has been announced as the principal sponsors of the National Finals for a fourth time.

Kapitol Promotions, who present that National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, has announced that for a fourth time, Geneva Instruments will be the Principal Sponsor of the Finals.

Welcome

Philip Morris told 4BR that Kapitol was delighted to again welcome Geneva on board for 2014: "Geneva is a fast-developing manufacturer of high-end instruments now being played by players and bands the world over.

We are delighted that such a high-profile UK based company has decided to support the pinnacle of the international banding calendar for a fourth year. Such a loyal sponsor is important to the event."

Exciting year

Meanwhile, Geneva Managing Director, Craig Buchan added: "Globally, 2014 is proving to be the most exciting year yet for Geneva Instruments, and we are justly proud to once again be the Principal Sponsor these world renowned Championships."

Geneva Instruments recently announced that Professor David King had been appointed as its International Advisory Consultant, whilst reigning Yorkshire Regional champion Brighouse & Rastrick has elected to play on the Geneva brand.

In addition, former Black Dyke tuba star Joseph Cook has joined the company’s roster internationally renowned artists, that includes LSO trumpeter Rod Franks, as well as brothers James and Thomas Fountain and Eikanger-Bjørsvik’s principal cornet, David Morton,

It was also revealed that Geneva is also poised to develop and introduce an intermediate Academy range of Instruments with David King, who is currently establishing a successful student exchange and educational Global Academy Project in Australia, Norway and the UK.
