The Bolton (Hoover) Band has announced the appointment of Craig Mann as their new Musical Director.
New role
This news follows the recent departure of Trevor Halliwell, with Craig taking on the role after enjoying a successful tenure at Stretford Band, where he was MD for three years.
The move comes as Bolton (Hoover) look forward to more contesting success following their promotion to the First Section in January this year.
Delighted
Band Chairman Andy Pearson told 4BR: "We are delighted Craig has joined as Musical Director. He is a very talented conductor who has settled in very well, and we look forward to developing our musical partnership together."
Craig, who hails from Greater Manchester, has recently been working alongside conductors from across the banding globe at Allan Withington's Conducting Summer School in Sandbach, where he has worked with both Roberts Bakery and Foden’s Bands.
