Geneva Instruments has announced the appointment of Colin Dixon as their new sales representative for the North of England.

Growing demands

A spokesperson told 4BR: "With increasing enquiries for our outstanding bandroom visit service, it became clear that we should look to recruit a new member of staff to cover those growing demands in the North of England.

In Colin, not only do we have a first class brass player, passionate about the banding movement he has been a part of for many years, but we are also gaining a new team member with an outstanding sales and customer service pedigree."

Huge plus

They added: "His experience of working with high value premium products is a huge plus in this new role. We look forward to utilizing all of that experience Colin will bring to further improve what we are able to offer as a company to our customers."

Colin has held the principal Bb bass seat at the Reg Vardy Band for over twenty years, and has over fifteen years of sales experience as an executive with Reg Vardy motor sales and more recently Stratstone Jaguar and Aston Martin.

Looking forward

Colin told 4BR: "I’m looking forward to working with the team at Geneva Instruments and I’m particularly excited about being involved in the development of Geneva’s low brass, in particular the forthcoming ‘Symphony’ BBb tuba.

It’s such an exciting time of growth for Geneva Instruments and a great opportunity for me to join this stellar company to bring great products along with excellent service to the brass players in the North of England."
