An actors life for me

If you want to use your banding skills to appear on the silver screen — now's your chance... and you don't even have to shave...

Kitchener

It seems there is a growing demand for brass band players to perform on the silver screen at the moment, with 4BR being contacted to see if we could help in providing seven players for an upcoming major Warner Brothers film.

Hirsute

The producers are looking for the players to take the part of a small First World War Belgian Military Band — with the only stipulation being that the men in question must be fairly hirsute — and able to grow some sort of period moustache or beard for the part!

The filming will takes place at a studio in North London near Watford and would be shooting for a full block of two weeks in early August.

The film rates and would average around £150 a day.
