The BTM Next Generation Ensemble recently took part in a spectacular ‘Children for Children’ concert to help raise much needed funds for the Caerphilly Children's Centre which offers services to over 1,000 disabled children living in the county council area.

Packed

Held at the refurbished Blackwood Miners Institute, the band was conducted by MD Mark Hutcherson, with the packed audience enjoying some great playing from the BTM’s long established youth set up.

Doorstep

Mark told 4BR: "It was great to be able to play to such an enthusiastic and supportive audience and to help such a worthy cause, right on our doorstep."

BTM Next Generation players also participated at the recent Armed Forces Day in Ystrad Mynach.
