Report & Results: 2014 Colne Valley Solo Contest

There was an excellent turn out of playing talent at the Colne Valley Solo Contest with 90 entrants and a missing golfing caretaker providing the entertainment.

Welsh

Over 90 entrants took part in the Colne Valley Solo Contest this year — double the 2013 entry – with a fabulous day of competition enjoyed by one and all, despite an early morning hitch with a fire alarm and a caretaker more concerned with improving his golf handicap!

Thankfully there was plenty of great playing on show – from the cracking entrants in the Under 12’s to the more experienced competitors in the Veterans class.
